Andalo is just 5 km away, on the Altopiano della Paganella. This village has preserved part of its centuries-old division into fourteen ‘masi’ (hamlets). Andalo’s sports complex includes a 100,000-m2 park, an ice rink, a riding school, two indoor swimming pools, and a brand-new wellness centre.
Fai della Paganella is 10 km away. From Fai, one enjoys a scenic view of the Valle dell’Adige. There are archaeological sites to visit and several mountain dairies where one can drink freshly-milked milk.
San Lorenzo in Banale is on the opposite shore of Lake Molveno. Before you reach the village, we recommend you visit the Madonna di Caravaggio di Deggia, a sanctuary that has been a place of pilgrimage for the local population for a very long time.
One of San Lorenzo’s latest attractions is the so-called ‘Casa di una volta’ (‘House of yesteryear’) where you can visit an exhibition of the village’s old customs. Is one of the “borghi più belli d’Italia”
